I'm Baran, a software engineer based in Istanbul. I build products end-to-end — mobile apps, web dashboards, backend APIs, and the infrastructure behind them. I built an entire SaaS platform from scratch, alone — from SDK architecture and event pipelines to production infrastructure.

My day-to-day spans React Native/Expo, Next.js, Node.js, and occasionally Python and Swift. I care about writing code that works reliably at scale, whether that's an offline-first batching system, a podcast generation pipeline running on an Azure VM, or an AI chat streaming responses in real-time. I'm equally comfortable designing a database schema, provisioning a server, or fine-tuning a mobile animation.

Software Developer at HelloSpace

Built multiple mobile apps from scratch with Expo/React Native, including native iOS widgets in Swift. Developed backend microservices with Hono, Node.js, and Redis. Provisioned Azure Windows servers for automated podcast generation pipelines. Set up CI/CD across Linux and Windows environments. Also contributed to a mobile app owned by ASELSAN within a cross-functional team.
